first_img The 5: Takeaways from the Coyotes’ introduction of Alex Meruelo The Arizona Cardinals moved offensive lineman Vinston Painter from the practice squad to the active roster Thursday as they prepare for a Week 11 game against the Houston Texans.He adds depth to an offensive line that lost starting left tackle D.J. Humphries to a knee injury last Thursday in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Humphries was placed on injured reserve and is out for the season.Meanwhile, right tackle Jared Veldheer moves into Humphries’ position across the line, and John Wetzel takes over at right tackle. Painter, who has experience at guard and tackle, is listed on the Cardinals’ depth chart as the backup at right tackle.
